A morning in the workshop: coffee, color sorting, and the quiet focus of a room full of makers.
Our studio sits a few blocks from Hilo Bay, where the light comes in soft and grey most mornings before the sun burns through. Work starts with color — strips are sorted into trays by hue so a maker can reach for the exact green of a monstera leaf without breaking rhythm.
There is no assembly line. Each maker sees a piece through from base to final coil, which is why no two are ever quite identical. We think that is the point.
